She was born February 8, 1947 in Humboldt, TN to the late James Earl Morris and Thelma Deloris Sasser. Janice was a 1965 graduate of Savannah High School. She retired as the Clerk of the Chatham County Superior Court after more than twenty years of service. Janice was a member of S.A.D.A., the Jaycettes, the Ladies Ancient order of Hibernians, and the Shag Club.

Ruby Constance Benson Bacon, age 103 ½, died at home November 5, 2022. She was a life long resident of Savannah and daughter of deceased parents Ruth Benson and Robert Benson SR. She was the food service manager at Savannah Country Day for 27 years. She was a member of Bull Street Baptist Church since 1955. Ann Langille Kasserman Farr was many things to many people.

She attended the University of Georgia and later in life graduated from Armstrong College with a B.S. She owned Savannah Welcoming service, worked at Jarrod's, and later sold real estate; however, her main focus was raising three children and supporting their many athletic endeavors.

Sharon Davis Tumlin, 78, died Wednesday morning, November 16, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. Sharon was born in Savannah, GA on May 7, 1944 to the late Charles and Geraldine Davis. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English.
She is the last daughter of Joseph Napolitano and Linda Napolitano. Christine leaves behind her parents, her older sisters Lisa and Nikki, and her three children Justin, Kiera, and Alexis. Christine was loved by many people and was a radiant light to all that knew her. Pamela Claire Nesbit-Ferris, 63, died Thursday, September 15, 2022, following complications from a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Savannah, Georgia, on October 12, 1958, to Emmett and Florence Nesbit, and lived most of her life in her beautiful hometown.

She was the last surviving sibling of 13, including her own twin, Lewis. Lois was married to the late George Edward Williams. Affectionately known as Mema, her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She enjoyed cooking for them and all of their friends.
